mc: w4a last week. did a session on what might happen with wcag in the future
... Jeff Bigham did a preso on automated captioning on youtube. If you use auto-caption and a human editor, there's a benefit to starting with automated recognition if the acuracy is at a certain percentage
... I did a preso on web of things for WWW conference. Had to deep dive, and came up with some new use cases and risks.
... other presentations were very technical, and I think we will need to dive in

jf: WCAG in the future... did you ask for comments to mailing list

mc: feedback was that they wanted to keep on top of what's happening.

jf: I'm hoping to wrap up roadmap in teh next week or two, so if you have feedback, lets talk offline

js: we need a wiki to capture requirements for web of things.

sm: this is reporting at a very low layer

jf: could that not be applied to an accessibility policy?
... could you send a report if there's an image without alt text, for exmaple?

mc: first public working draft

sm: I'd find it interesting if there was a way to take advantage for a11y, but I don't think we have anything exposed at this layer

js: would we actually do the work to write up accessibility applications of this?

jf: I'll take this, and talk dylan about whether this could be integrated into our testing tools
