PROPOSAL: Accept the minutes of last meeting http://www.w3.org/2012/02/07-RDB2RDF-minutes.html

<boris> +1

RESOLUTION: Accept the minutes of last meeting http://www.w3.org/2012/02/07-RDB2RDF-minutes.html

Director approves transition of RDB2RDF specs to CR!

Ashok: we had a telecon with W3C Director, Tim Berners-Lee who approved that we can go CR with our documents
... good new, congrats!
... When can we publish the documents
... could you handle this please, ericP?

ericP: shall we work on the TC and test framework?
... the SotD incl. pointers to test suite and IR
... and the more we provide there the better
... useful for outreach to non WG implementors

cygri: I think we have a pretty good idea who the implementors are, so we can use what we have

Michael: I agree with Richard

Ashok: Agree as well

<scribe> ACTION: Eric to take care of publication of CR docs [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2012/02/14-RDB2RDF-minutes.html#action01]

<trackbot> Created ACTION-201 - Take care of publication of CR docs [on Eric Prud'hommeaux - due 2012-02-21].

Michael: We want to help as many as possible people/implementors to submit EARL reports for the IR

Test Case

ACTION-198?

<trackbot> ACTION-198 -- Richard Cyganiak to suggest data errors TC -- due 2012-02-14 -- OPEN

<trackbot> http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/rdb2rdf/track/actions/198

Boris: I included new DM TC
... please DM Editors, review

<Zakim> cygri, you wanted to ask lots of stupid questions about the test suite

cygri: what is the current version of the TC? where do I go?
... what is the process of submitting a TC?

Ashok: wondering what the deadline is re the TC
... end of Feb 2012?

boris: yes, ideally till end of Feb would be good
... but also everyone review the TC

<boris> http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/rdb2rdf/test-cases/

http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/rdb2rdf/test-cases/

cygri: I'd assume that the Wiki is the more relevant starting point

Michael: OK, fair point

<boris> https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/rdb2rdf-tests

<ericP> should i see <http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/rdb2rdf/wiki/R2RML_Test_Cases_v1#I18NnoSpecialChars> in <http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/rdb2rdf/test-cases/> ?

<boris> http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/rdb2rdf/wiki/TestCases#Suggestions_for_new_TCs

boris: Not sure if the WG agrees with the TC process as it currently stands

<Zakim> cygri, you wanted to ask more stupid questions

cygri: I suggest that we use existing Wiki pages
... re creation of new TC
... you want the TC as prose and then you, boris create it?

boris: yes

<Zakim> ericP, you wanted to ask about coverage of http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/rdb2rdf/wiki/R2RML_Test_Cases_v1 in http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/rdb2rdf/test-cases/

ericP: great job so far, boris
... all TC covered (it seems some of my old ones have not been added)

boris: correct, should be synced

ericP: should I directly work in the Wiki page to suggest new, yes?

boris: yes

(ericP and boris discuss how to collaborate on TC workflow)

ericP: works for me - cygri, how about you?

<ericP> q

cygri: I believe that once we start running the TC as I work against files it's hard to work with Wiki pages

<Zakim> ericP, you wanted to talk about SPARQL Manifest.ttl

ericP: In the SPARQL WG, all the Editors could write TC
... and then put it in the Manifest.ttl

Michael: I note that we also have a manifest - it's http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/rdb2rdf/test-cases/ - with RDFa ;)

<cygri> https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/rdb2rdf-tests/file/default

<boris> http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/rdb2rdf/wiki/TestCases#Suggestions_for_new_TCs

<boris> https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/rdb2rdf-tests/raw-file/0e41f966d036/D000-1table0rows/manifest.ttl

http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/rdb2rdf/test-cases

<boris> yes, exactly

<cygri> any23 http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/rdb2rdf/test-cases/

<ivan> http://www.w3.org/2007/08/pyRdfa/extract?uri=http%3A//www.w3.org/2001/sw/rdb2rdf/test-cases/

cygri: I think it is well done and we only need to document this nicely on the Wiki and remove duplicates

<Ashok> So, we need to review the Test Cases by mail

Michael: we can do it via mailing list or calls (but this doesn't scale I think ;)
... Suggest to review in batches via list

<boris> +1 by mail

Richard: Fine with me to review via mailing list but we shouldn't rush

ericP: In SPARQL we just ran them

<boris> I can identify the simple ones and the corner cases

<Ashok> That would a big help, Boris

<scribe> ACTION: Boris to suggest simple and corner TC to the mailing list [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2012/02/14-RDB2RDF-minutes.html#action02]

<trackbot> Created ACTION-202 - Suggest simple and corner TC to the mailing list [on Boris Villazón-Terrazas - due 2012-02-21].

Meeting frequency

Ashok: Let's cancel next week and then keep weekly schedule till we have the TC sorted

Michael: +1

<Souri> send the URL via email please

<Ashok> No call next week ... next call Feb 28

<Souri> thansk boris

[meeting adjourned]
