These editorial comments are primarily aimed at aligning the ODRL Ontology spec with the Common Vocabulary spec.
- Update title to "ODRL Version 2.1 Ontology"
- The "Offer", "Agreement", and "Offer and next Policy" scenario examples need to update the pay duty to compensate and use a constraint for the payAmount (not an asset)
- The "Multiple assets" scenario example needs to define x:collection as a o:relation sub-property
- The "event" property also defines a specific value ("playUsage") - need to add this
- All of the Actions need their definitions to be updated (copy/paste from the Common Vocab document) as we have updated all the definitions (from "grantUse" right up to "watermark")
- "aggregate", "annotate", and "anonymize" have Broader Term "use"
- deprecate "appendTo", "lease", "lend", "preview", "secondaryUse", and "writeTo"
- deprecate "copy" and recommend to use "reproduce"
- "display" is not equivalent to "execute" (and vice-versa)
- deprecate "export" and recommend to use "transform"
- deprecate "license" and recommend to use "grantUse"
- "modify" is not equivalent to "derive" (and vice-versa)
- deprecate "pay" and recommend to use "compensate"
- "play" is not equivalent to "present" - "present" is a Broader Term
- "present" - move "play" from equivalent to narrower term
- add "transfer" and "use” actions (these need to be explicitly defined in the Common Vocab as well)
Cheers...
