Description

Wikimeta is a tool for automatically annotating text with semantic content. It provide a solution for linking text content to the Linked Open Data network through various sources like DBpedia, Geonames, CIA World Factbook or directly to Wikipedia or the web when there is no available resource. Wikimeta performs a real multilingual named entity labeling and semantic labeling (a.k.a. disambiguation or name Resolution). Wikimeta uses a distinct model for each language. It is currently trained for English and French.

Wikimeta can be used as :

  • An online tool to annotate document
  • A web service (API)
