[Bug 8722] New: focus behaviour should be same for canvas regions as for elements

http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=8722

Summary: focus behaviour should be same for canvas regions as for
                    elements
           Product: HTML WG
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows NT
            Status: NEW
          Keywords: a11y, NE
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: HTML5 spec bugs
        AssignedTo: dave.null@w3.org
        ReportedBy: faulkner.steve@gmail.com
         QAContact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org
                CC: ian@hixie.ch, mike@w3.org, public-html@w3.org, public-
                    html-a11y@w3.org

currently the spec says:
3.Optionally, inform the user that the focus is at the given (transformed)
coordinate on the canvas. (For example, this could involve moving the user's
magnification
tool.)[http://dev.w3.org/html5/spec/the-canvas-element.html#focus-management-0]

this should not be an option, the current focus needs to move in to the
viewport the same way that it does for every other focusable element.
