http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=6353

Summary: play() and pause() don't throw
           Product: HTML WG
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Spec bugs
        AssignedTo: dave.null@w3.org
        ReportedBy: simonp@opera.com

Since load() doesn't throw exceptions any more (right?), the first step of the
play() and pause() algorithms should probably change.

"If the media element's networkState attribute has the value NETWORK_EMPTY,
then the user agent must invoke the load() method and wait for it to return. If
that raises an exception, that exception must be reraised by the play()
method."
