2007-12-21 15:01:57: GR, please consult with Al G. on a better label for this action.
But I heard from him on 12 Dec that he intends to work with you on something relevant to this. [Dan Connolly]

2008-01-17 19:41:44: this action is delayed due to the pending the release of new public drafts of the ARIA documents which will render this action item moot; a new action item will be opened by GJR when the new public drafts are released and test pages are updated to reflect any changes in the new drafts; it is for this reason that i have renamed the action item "coordinate tests using ARIA" [Gregory Rosmaita]

2008-01-26 18:58:12: re-opened ACTION-23 in anticipation of new public drafts of the ARIA suite:

1) the ARIA Roadmap;
2) the ARIA Roles, States & Properties (formerly 2 separate documents);
3) the ARIA Best Practices (public working draft not yet available;
4) the ARIA Primer (a new "executive level" document

these drafts are pending completion and review by the Protocols & Formats working group (http://www.w3.org/WAI/PF) and will be pushed to public space once the new drafts meet with PFWG approval [Gregory Rosmaita]

2008-02-15 00:30:19: i did want to let you know that as far as coordinating ARIA tests is concerned (my action item on the topic's due date is today), the new document drafts are in public space:

1. Combined Roles/States & Documents:
* http://www.w3.org/TR/wai-aria
2. ARIA Roadmap:
* http://www.w3.org/TR/wai-aria-roadmap
3. ARIA Best Practices:
* http://www.w3.org/TR/wai-aria-practices
4. ARIA Primer:
* http://www.w3.org/TR/wai-aria-primer

further conversation on test coordination will occur at the PF face2face next week in venice...

jon gunderson's iCITA tests are becoming the main repository for up-to-the-minute testing materials:

as reflected in:

http://html4all.org/wiki/index.php/ARIATestTests

which forms the feed/basis for an appendix to the ARIA Best Practices

2008-05-19 21:07:32: issue which needs to be addressed before a test suite can be mounted with confidence is the following request from the TAG, logged at:
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/wai-xtech/2008May/0135.html

The TAG's working hypothesis is that "aria:" is both technically feasible and strategically preferable, on the grounds that the long-term benefits of a consistent approach to extensibility across all the Web languages outweighs the short-term costs of making the change at this time:

* (to the WAI PF WG): Would you consider specifying 'aria:' in the next WD
of ARIA;

* (to the implementers): Could you see your way to changing your
implementation/spec. to comply?

[Gregory Rosmaita]

2008-07-24 16:53:16: Moving this to you Joshue, as Gregory no longer has write access to the HTML WG tracker. If you're not the right person, ping the chairs with an email and I suspect it'll come up on next week's telecon. [Shawn Medero]

2008-09-25 16:16:02: Group has now centralized in the codetalks.org wiki, being handled by ARIA. [Chris Wilson]
