Sponsors - Contributors - How to Sponsor - Activities
The Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) deeply appreciates the sponsorship of governments and other organizations committed to making the Web accessible. These organizations enable WAI to bring together a unique partnership of industry, disability organizations, national governments, and research organizations in a coordinated effort.
WAI welcomes additional sponsors to support its activities in education & outreach, and research & development, and coordination among stakeholders in Web accessibility.
If you would like more information about becoming a sponsor for WAI, please contact Judy Brewer, WAI Director, at jbrewer@w3.org or +1.617.258.9741.
The WAI International Program Office includes an Education and Outreach Working Group, which develops awareness and training materials related to Web accessibility, and a Research and Development Interest Group, which addresses issues around accessibility of advanced Web technologies.
The WAI Technical Activity includes three groups working on accessibility guidelines for Web Content, Authoring Tools, and User Agents, as well as the Protocols and Formats Working Group which reviews all W3C specifications for accessibility support, and the Evaluation and Repair Tools Working Group which develops tools and techniques to facilitate accessibility evaluation and repair.
