Note about conformance reviews

There are reviews of conformance to the Authoring Tool Guidelines for some tools. Note that the guidelines are currently a working draft, and that most tools listed are in continued development. The reviews should be treated as informative, not definitive, and they do not represent consensus or endorsement of the W3C, the working group, or any other organistion.

The working group welcomes further reviews. Each review should include enough information that it can be reproduced by another reviewer. In particular, please provide the following information:

Courseware, Groupware, database-backed tools

The Adaptive Technology Resource Center at the University of Toronoto did a preliminary review of the accessibility of some courseware tools in early 1999. Although it is not directly a conformance review, its methodology means that the results are useful for doing a conformance review (but note that results may be out of date in some cases).
