<Lisa_Seeman> agenda: this

<Lisa_Seeman> michael, we have an interested party joining the call - is there any problem with that

<Lisa_Seeman> scribe: Mike_Pluke

<Lisa_Seeman> next item

<Lisa_Seeman> https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/cognitive-a11y-tf/track/actions/open

<Lisa_Seeman> https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/cognitive-a11y-tf/wiki/Main_Page#Current_schedules

Deadlines approaching - techniques quite good, but issue papers and gap analysis not on schedule - a delay of about 3 weeks is realistic

Deadline 31st July

Tony has completed an issue paper on Distraction - with Neil for review

<ayelet_seeman> https://github.com/ayelet-seeman/coga.personalisation

Ayelet Github project for JSON (personalization) see link above. Chaohai producing an example JSON script

Debbie - VoiceML - message sent to list prior to meeting

Richard will complete security ASAP

<Lisa_Seeman> next item

John has finished the Action 122 on schedule. Lisa to close.

<Lisa_Seeman> https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-cognitive-a11y-tf/2015Jul/0087.html

John is after group input on what symbols to use from those shown on the pages in his 26th July email

Lisa suggests a need to select a target audience for the symbols - e.g. classic handset OK for MCI but not for a young Down Syndrome user

John has chosen some sample functions to use for the proof of concept task

Lisa would like to see full sets of symbols - per cognitive disability (e.g. an MCI set a Down Syndrome set)

Mike suggested that the symbols that are familiar are those being currently being used, or the ones that they once were familiar with (e.g. Windows XP)

There will be a confusion between symbol sets for AAC users (it is their language) and those that we are talking about here (Lisa)

<Lisa_Seeman> next item

Debbie Dahl's email suggests that "for “Proposed Solutions” we should refer to the many existing resources on voice user interface design rather than try to come up with our own list."

+1

Debbie volunteered to review the voice user interface resources.
