<scribe> scribenick: ted

Paul: I understand KDDI has some more attendees

Hira: we have Hashimoto-san from KDDI to join us for auto security and privacy tf

Hashimoto: I am with KDDI and have worked on Firefox-OS. I'm here for security and privacy topics

Fujiwara: Also from KDDI and here for security and privacy

FPWD

Paul: unless we have formal issues arise we hope to initiate this first public working draft this week

<djensen47> What's the Goto Meeting id?

<djensen47> I've failed w/2 different ones. :-/

Paul: Wonsuk has been an active editor. Qing An do you have any comments to add?

<djensen47> Huh

<djensen47> Thanks, I'm in. (I thought I tried that id)

Qing An: we have collaboration here and hope to push our FPWD out

scribe: it isn't fully done
... we want to review the pull requests as soon as possible and merge with current version

Ted: it is a first public working draft and I feel what we have is fairly advanced given the history of changes. it doesn't have to be as crisp as we would expect a final specification. if anyone feels there are any major, glaring issues then we absolutely should not publish but

Paul: I have been staying current on the list and wondering if an editor's call would be appropriate

Qing An: I agree

Ted: it would be appropriate to have a break-out call provided we have minutes available and give a frozen version to the list that can be reviewed before published

Paul: that work for you Qing An?

Qing An: Yes and I agree

Paul: we have had quite a few comments and revisions, which is great but we need to be clear on where we stand
... I'll send something out for next Tuesday

Kaz: we should also discuss our publication schedule

Paul: early next week would be good for me

<kaz> draft home page

<kaz> auto wiki

Kaz: we are working on the automotive main page and want to update our publication schedule then

F2F in Seattle

Paul: Seattle was the clear winner (unlike the super bowl :P)
... we have a great space picked out and sent an email with the logistics. July 28th and 29th
... plenty of hotels of all ranges in the area
... I'll send an invite and ask people to register so we can have an accurate head count

Rawgit vs Github branches

Paul: I prefer rawgit as... less raw
... but have no strong preference

Kaz: we had some internal discussion and there is no strong preference here either

Paul: Qing An as our respresentative editor present do you have a preference

Qing An: as it is an unofficial version it is ok to use either

https://labs.w3.org/echidna/

<kaz> ted: there is an automatic publication mechanism named Echidna

Dave: I saw it from the js style guide but it makes sense to use it

Paul: Qing An have you look at this tool?

<kaz> QingAn: can see how to use it

<kaz> ted: don't worry about how to use it

<kaz> ... if the group would like to use it, I can help

<kaz> ... heart beat drafts can be automatically published

<djensen47> +1 for echidna

Ted: we can review during the editors call as well
... we can stop using it if necessary

Paul: that would be helpful

Security&Privacy TF

<kaz> ted: planning to send out a public call for participation

<kaz> ... BG/WG participants can join

<kaz> hira: will Ted send out the CfP?

<kaz> paul: yes

Ted: either of the chairs, Kaz or I can add people to the TF. I will send the CfP publicly

Kaz: should we use the existing wiki or another?

Subject: [SP IG]

<kaz> ted: we can set up a different issue tracker and mailing list

<kaz> paul: agree

<kaz> ted: will set up a new ML

Ted: I will get that all set up tomorrow
