paulc: aaron you had a response in comment 7

<paulc> See https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=23169#c7

acolwell: waiting for a response from jerry and mark
... i replied specifically to jerry's comments
... we haven't heard back from david since he filed the bug so we don't know if my proposal was acceptable to him

paulc: looks like this needs input from jerry, mark, and dsinger

<paulc> https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=23441

Bug 23441 - Establish an MSE bytestream format registry

acolwell: not yet done this

... do you have a target date?

acolwell: want something by the next call - have a feeling there may be some iteration

Bug 23549 - Clarify definition of decode timestamp

paulc: comment from mark with proposed text and no response

acolwell: i assigned it to me - didn't seem controversial - will be in next update

<paulc> https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=23552

Bug 23552 - The phrase "this algorithm" in Section 3.5.1 (Segment Parser Loop) is unclear

paulc: this one is aaron's list

Bug 23553 - Segment parser loop appears to discard Media Segment header

<paulc> https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=23553#c1

acolwell: need to figure out a way to accomplish making it clear as well as supporting incremental parsing

<paulc> https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=23554

Bug 23554 - Coded frame processing step 14 is very hard to parse

paulc: also assigned to aaron

acolwell: didn't see anything controversial so planning to make the edits

paulc: anyone have comments - it is on aaron's list

Bug 23557 - Advise support of all options for SPS/PPS in ISO BMFF

<paulc> https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=23557#c1

acolwell: this one i thought might be controversial so i need a response

paulc: who are the experts on this?

acolwell: someone from the BBC originally advocated for adding this text
... wasn't really thinking about letting avc4 in - don't think we should
... need mark to address question about dropping avc4
... also need feedback from bbc
... never my intent to add support for complex features

paulc: johnsim, could you help track this down?

Comments on Media Source Extensions from HTML Accessibility Task Force

<acolwell> http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html-media/2013Oct/0022.html

paulc: when they raised this on the a11y call i asked if they applied to MSE or to <video>
... i didn't get a good answer but they wanted to get them in on time

acolwell: i think these apply to the media elements in HTML

paulc: does someone want to raise bugs

acolwell: i can do that

<scribe> ACTION: acolwell to file bugs for a11y tf issues [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2013/10/22-html-media-minutes.html#action05]

Exiting from Last Call

paulc: i had some comments about what happens next

<paulc> http://www.w3.org/2005/10/Process-20051014/tr.html#cfi

paulc: i included notes on this in the agenda
... including a link to the process step
... and a check-list for what we need to do
... see "LC exit and CR entrance check list"

<paulc> - LC report – see http://tinyurl.com/mkwygp4

paulc: there are no formal objections, will need to talk about start and end of CR stage
... identifying any features at risk - good if you can inform the Director about existing implementations
... need a CfC at task force and WG level
... if we can get a more than average amount of work in the next 2 weeks we can have the discussion about these at TPAC
... hope to go into CR in December
... aaron, does this answer your questions?

acolwell: yes - i assume there is no period for another flurry of bugs

paulc: correct

johnsim: btw, it is Chris Poole at the BBC

Any other business

paulc: nothing heard
