<jeffsayre> +1

<bblfish> minutes here: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xg-webid/2011Mar/0096.html

<bblfish> +1

<jeffsayre> Is that Google +1?

RESOLUTION: minutes approved

deliverables

bblfish: didn't have time to work on the spec yet
... there has been some work on the IRC channel about test cases
... I think every implementation of webid should have a page
... where people can test their certificate,
... with human readable information about the outcome,
... but also machine readable data, to build reports.
... A test agent could then create a webid in RDFa (to test conneg)
... and crowl different services to test them.

<bblfish> Deiu?

jeffsayre: should we be monitoring the IRC in addition to the public mailing list
... ?

<Deiu> bblfish, yeah, I'm here

<bblfish> are you on teleconf?

<Deiu> no, sorry (missing a telephone in the office right now)

bblfish: there has been more activity on the IRC lately

<bblfish> you can join here: +1-617-761-6200

<bblfish> ah thre is a SIP client you can use

<bblfish> do you have sip

<bblfish> ?

<Deiu> nope (no headset/mic anyway)

<Deiu> (totally got carried away and forgot about the conference) :(

bbfish: we have now settled the political issues, should now focus on more technical issues
... I have more problems than expected with Clerezza, but test cases are important.

<jeffsayre> +1

bbfish: We need to work on the ontology to allow to build test reports.

<bblfish> http://www.w3.org/2011/identity-ws/

report for identity in the browser

<webr3> by April 22nd 2011

bblfish: we should submit a position paper at the identity-ws (URI above)
... deadline is april 22nd
... everyone in the group may of course submit something on their own behalf,
... but as a group we could make a submission as well.
... Harry suggested we should not put to much semweb in it.
... Buzzword compliant identity system:
... works in current browser or require minimal changes,
... is secure

<webr3> re demo's: data.fm is looking pretty awesome of late

bblfish: then show how webid complies with those criteria

<bblfish> 4 sections:

<bblfish> 1. Buzzword compliant description

<bblfish> 2. WebID description

bblfish: We need to show what are the problems with the browsers.

<bblfish> 3. Demo

<bblfish> 4. Browser issues and improvements

pchampin: +1 to the proposed plan

<webr3> "who"? can work on it?

<bblfish> I'll work in on it

<webr3> ""ACTION, name to etc""

<trackbot> Sorry, couldn't find user - jeffsayre

<webr3> ACTION: jeff to start a position paper for Identity in the browser workshop http://www.w3.org/2011/identity-ws/ [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2011/04/04-webid-minutes.html#action02]

<trackbot> Sorry, couldn't find user - bblfish,

<trackbot> Created ACTION-24 - Follow up on Berlin conference [on Henry Story - due 2011-04-11].

<gaedke> URL for Berlin?

<bblfish> http://d-cent.org/fsw2011/

gaedke: will probably be in Berlin.
... my advice for the workshop would be to stick to presenting webid
... PrimeLife, which is organizing the workshop, make a lot of work related to identity
... not only on the tech side, but also political

<bblfish> And PrimeLife uses Elgg

gaedke: PrimeLife is a FP7 big project: http://www.primelife.eu/

pchampin: coming back to the IRC vs. email discussion, I think the mailing list has the advantage of being asynchronous and archived
... so it would be nice to have a summary on the mailing list whenever an important discussion happens on the IRC

<webr3> +1

<bblfish> +1

bblfish: it would be nice to have an IRC logger

<jeffsayre> +1

<webr3> http://www.dajobe.org/software/logger/

pchampin: I now that some service used to do that

<webr3> ACTION nathan to find out about logging on w3 irc servers and organize something

<trackbot> Created ACTION-25 - Find out about logging on w3 irc servers and organize something [on Nathan Rixham - due 2011-04-11].

pchampin: but I was more suggesting that someone involved in the discussion wrote a summary for the sake of others

<jeffsayre> Really? I did not receive notice.

<webr3> Next Federated Social Web Telecon Friday April 8th 15:00 UTC

<jeffsayre> Did something go out via the mailing list?

<bblfish> http://www.w3.org/mid/302a810b657346da3e3d170b3c708a6e.squirrel@webmail-mit.w3.org

<jeffsayre> webr3: Hum. I do not recall receiving it.

open actions

http://www.w3.org/2005/Incubator/webid/track/actions/open

<webr3> jeffsayre: was sent on 03/04/2011 17:49 to the group list, should check your subscribed? (I normally do a manual subscribe int he normal fashion to ensure)

action-16: bblfish has been talking to them

<trackbot> ACTION-16 Look into us joining Identity Commons notes added

bblfish: anybody has progressed on the social web XG stories?

<webr3> ACTION 20?

<trackbot> Sorry, bad ACTION syntax

<webr3> ACTION-20?

<trackbot> ACTION-20 -- Nathan Rixham to find out how to set actions to be default of 2 weeks -- due 2011-03-14 -- OPEN

<trackbot> http://www.w3.org/2005/Incubator/webid/track/actions/20

jeff: have started, will continue next week

<jeffsayre> pchampin: That is fine. :)

ontology

<bblfish> foaf:identity to cert:publicKey

<bblfish> :me cert:publicKey id1, id2, id3.

<bblfish> pk1 cert:publicKey id1 .

<bblfish> pk2 cert:publicKey id1 .

<bblfish> pk3 cert:publicKey id1 .

<bblfish> (my mistake above using foaf)

bblfish: the issue of direction of the property has already be raised;
... may be it should be the opposite (person -> public key)
... furthermore, this would be more natural as the pk is almost a literal

<webr3> can we have a webid: ontology

bblfish: (it is identified by two literals)

Anybody would have a problem with that?

pchampin: no problem with that for me

bblfish: how many people here have an implementation?

<webr3> I have a couple, none released yet (in node.js and php)

bblfish: I have one

<bblfish> webr3, what was the discussion with danbri?

<jeffsayre> pchampin: +1 on Node

bblfish: Another issue is about namespaces
... using two namespaces is somewhat strange

<gaedke> I think it is a good thing

<mike> yes

<gaedke> everyone deeply thinking

pchampin: +1

<webr3> close ACTION-20

<trackbot> ACTION-20 Find out how to set actions to be default of 2 weeks closed

ACTION-20: web3r discussed that with Dominique Hazael-Massieux (Tracker software author), they say it is not possible for the moment

<trackbot> ACTION-20 Find out how to set actions to be default of 2 weeks notes added

<bblfish> http://doodle.com/txugsrtpe2tp9ted

<jeffsayre> Wife's Birthday on April 11

<webr3> "at this time, on irc"

<webr3> is it not bi-weekly?

bblfish: to webr3: we are thinking on making the telecon weekly

<gaedke> do we do the writing on google docs or the like?

<jeffsayre> +1

<jeffsayre> EtherPad is more freeform, not too structured

<jeffsayre> yes, I'll ping IRC

<jeffsayre> webr3: :) Ideadump

<jeffsayre> +1

<bblfish> trackbot, end meeting
