ISSUE-44: No need to say where a property MAY appear
MAY assertion re: props definition
No need to say where a property MAY appear
- State:
- CLOSED
- Product:
- SOAP-JMS Binding specification
- Raised by:
- Eric Johnson
- Opened on:
- 2010-07-12
- Description:
- From email:
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-soap-jms/2010Jul/0013.html
For each of
* jndiConnectionFactoryName
* jndiInitialContextFactory
* jndiURL
* jndiContextParameter
We have the phrase: "MAY be specified in JMS URI, WSDL, or somewhere else in the
environment"
Two problems here:
* Each declaration here is not flagged as an assertion
* The assertion is fundamentally informative, rather than normative. That the property can be specified in the URI or the WSDL follows from other parts of the specification. That it can be specified in the environment derives from existing assertion Protocol-2001, which tells you to refer to the environment.
Proposal:
For these four properties, change the statement to read:
"Can be specified in the JMS URI, WSDL, or somewhere else in the environment."
