WebTransport

From W3C Wiki

Welcome

Welcome to the home page of the WebTransport WG. The mission of the WebTransport Working Group is to develop APIs that enable data transfer between browsers and servers with support for multiple data flows, unidirectional data flows, out-of-order delivery, variable reliability and pluggable protocols. You can view our charter and homepage.

If you are not yet a member, we encourage you to join our group.

The group has two Co-Chairs - Will Law (Akamai) and Jan-Ivar Bruaroey (Mozilla). The W3C Staff contact is Yves Lafon. Contact us if you have any concerns or questions for the group.

The public mailing list is available via public-webtransport@w3.org and all mail is archived.

We hold bi-weekly working meetings, as well as ad-hoc meetings around special events such as TPAC. For information about any meeting, including joining instructions, agenda and archives, please consult the meeting list below.

Our current deliverable is the WebTransport specification https://w3c.github.io/webtransport.

Meetings

To accommodate four different timezones who wish to participate, our regular meetings are held every two weeks on a Tuesday, at an alternating time slot of 07:00PT and 16:00PT. Two calendar invites (.ics) files are available to subscribe you to all of these meetings - time slot A and time slot B . Please attend the meeting most convenient for your local work hours. If we need to cancel or postpone any individual meeting, we shall inform you via the public mailing list public-webtransport@w3.org.
