WG Data Mining

From W3C Wiki

It has row per WG and columns with data on WG participation, pointers to mailing lists and issue/action trackers that indicate the WG's activity, and data from the /TR page on recent publications.

One can load the raw data into a spreadsheet or other data analysis program to looke for patterns that might indicate which WGs unlikely to succeed due to limited participation, activity, and momentum toward Recommendation. These data also contain pointers to activity tracker and mailing list archives that the task force can use for more detailed qualitative or quantitative analysis of the questions we're investigating. Thus people can both "eyeball" the data / read the linked content to look for insights, and to use data science tools as appropriate.
