The Testing wiki is no longer maintained.
The canonical resource for W3C's Open Web Platform Testing Effort is now on testthewebforward.org.
Benefits of the planned testing effort:
- better interoperability,
- a canonical W3C OWP test suite,
- complete test suites for all relevant specs,
- a set of standard tools to write tests used across the whole industry,
- documentation on how to write tests and training material (through the TTWF effort),
- a framework to run tests locally,
- publicly available test results which notably helps developers make informed choices,
- faster and cheaper review processes (thanks to a dedicated toolset),
