StandardsAreCool
Reminiscent of a certain Âbe strict to be cool e-mail signature (thatÂs Karl DubostÂs, as in a message about an XHTML2 draft), let's give a new spin to Web standards advocacy through cool, fun, multimedia.
Cool standards  the song
Björn had the idea of starting our cool web multimedia experiment with a theme song. So there we go, the contest is opened. Songs and pieces of music are welcome for the month of April 2004. (EtanWexler wonders about the status as of 2004-08-05.)
Feel free to use and abuse this wiki document as a playground to hack lyrics, discuss harmonics or plan a recording gig.

(To the tune of Woody GuthrieÂs ÂThis Land is Your LandÂ.)
These Recs are your thing,
these Recs are my thing,
from XSLT,
to SVG and PNG.
From the biggest vendor,
to the government office,
these Recs were made for you and me.
As I went browsing
that info highway,
I saw before me
a new compliance.
I found these products
all implementing
interoperability!
