SPARQL/Extensions/Entailment Regimes
< SPARQL | Extensions
The SPARQL specification is defined for matching graph patterns based on simple entailment, but does discuss extending SPARQL basic graph pattern matching to other entailment relations.
There is a SparqlOwl Google code project that contains a short bibliography of links to other material related to integrating OWL entailments into SPARQL.
Evren Sirin and Bijan Parsia proposed SPARQL-DL for bringing OWL-DL reasoning to SPARQL basic graph patterns. The Clark & Parsia blog contains a number of entries about evaluating SPARQL-DL queries.
Axel Polleres has expressed interest in discussing SPARQL for higher entailment regimes in a January 2008 message to public-rdf-dawg-comments.
