"RDF: Concepts and Abstract Syntax" is a good W3C paper on the basic parts of RDF.
It'll walk you through the basic ideas of things like:
- what a Graph is,
- SubjectPredicateObject,
- BlankNodes,
- RdfUris,
- specifics of Literals,...
It's a great starting document.
It's the second in a series of six articles, the first being the RdfPrimer.
