(17:03:57) matthias_samwald: Paolo: had discussion with eric
(17:04:07) matthias_samwald: ... about namespaces of notes
(17:04:29) matthias_samwald: ... we are still in the process of finding decisions about that.
(17:04:56) matthias_samwald: ... but by today this should be decided.
(17:05:17) matthias_samwald: ... I will speak to eric directly today.
(17:07:00) matthias_samwald: Tim: so once this is finished we start working on the note.
(17:07:40) matthias_samwald: paolo: about the structure of the documents... eric said there should be 3, maybe 2 would be better (less work).
(17:08:18) matthias_samwald: tim: looking ahead, if we are succesful with integrating the experiment component -- how do we approach that.
(17:08:46) matthias_samwald: paolo: i believe the experiment integration is a topic by itself.
(17:09:06) matthias_samwald: david: sounds like a good solution.
(17:10:00) matthias_samwald: tim: about experiments... we had two discussions.
(17:10:13) matthias_samwald: tim: one involving susie stephens (lilly)
(17:10:38) matthias_samwald: ... lilly singapore had a first shot at an experimental ontology.
(17:11:07) matthias_samwald: ... they are very open about how much work it needs, and they are very interested in organizing masses of data in their genomics center.
(17:11:48) matthias_samwald: ... phil brookes (sp?) who is working in susie's open innovation group is very interested, too. he will talk to greg tucker.
(17:12:56) matthias_samwald: ... we will see if they get resources. they do not use taverna. they use gene pattern (sp?).
(17:13:42) matthias_samwald: ... we can contact the developers of gene pattern, maye to integrate an export in RDF format into the software.
(17:14:10) matthias_samwald: david: the services in MyExperiment could be tailored to gene pattern.
(17:15:27) matthias_samwald: tim: i will contact the developers of gene pattern.
(17:16:20) matthias_samwald: ... so for the next call we will have an update on that, an update on the collaboration with Lilly Singapore, and progress with the IG note.
