Some diagrams. I like to create diagrams to help myself sort out confusing modeling problems.
The boxes are what might end up being classes in an ontology. An arrow from box A to box B indicates a relationship between members of A and members of B.
An arrow with hollow arrowhead is a subclass relationship: A --|> B means every A is a B.
A box in 3D style indicates a class of things that have state, or are (potentially) varying over time.
Be warned that I change my mind a lot, and am not afraid of refactoring and renaming as I come up with (what I consider to be) better ways to think about things.
