Activity Streams/Primer/Experiencing objects

From W3C Wiki

There are a set of activity types that are for documenting the actor's experience of the object: Read, Listen, View. They can be used in different ways in AS2 applications.

Best practices:

  • Read primarily applies to written content.
  • Read may be applicable for Audio objects that are translated or read from written content, such as audiobooks.
  • Listen primarily applies to audio content, such as Audio.
  • View primarily applies to visual content, like an Image or a Video.
  • View may be applicable for written content, to signify that the actor has been made aware of the content, even if they may not have read it through.
