[Bug 16566] New: No tests for restrictions on C0/C1 control characters

https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=16566

Summary: No tests for restrictions on C0/C1 control characters
Product: XPath / XQuery / XSLT
           Version: Proposed Edited Recommendation
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
Component: XQuery 3 & XPath 3 Test Suite
        AssignedTo: benjie.nguyen@gmail.com
        ReportedBy: mike@saxonica.com
         QAContact: public-qt-comments@w3.org

Noted that there are currently no tests showing whether use of C0/C1 control
characters (whether escaped or not) are allowed in XQuery or XPath source. The
precise rules are probably not yet clear in the spec. See also bug #15966.
