Hi Yves,
I'd definitely encourage you (and other implementers in the WG!) to 
consider putting in your own presentation proposals. Mine is the 
'official' co-chair view of ITS2.0, so it will be broad, relatively 
high-level with an overview of data categories, use cases, 
implementations and perhaps one or two examples (see text of my proposal 
below). I think anything that shows the joined up thinking between ITS 
and XLIFF through the mapping work would be great, and something welcome 
by participants used to historically somewhat fragmented standards efforts.

However, I think having separate presentations that include how ITS has 
been used in specific use cases, especially for interoperability between 
different products, would be very powerful, both showing real-world 
uptake of ITS2.0 as well as promoting the interoperability credentials 
of the products concerned (which I'm sure helps fund the trip).

We will have an opportunity to focus in a fuller showcase and technical 
presentation in FEISGILTT (more on that soon), but the main LocWorld 
session will be our bet bet overall for getting the message across to 
the localization industry.

Note the deadline for presenter submissions is the 10th Jan!

Title: Internationalization Tag Set 2.0: Enabling interoperability 
between CMS, language technologies and  localization workflows

Abstract: Internationalization Tag Set (ITS) 2.0 is a draft W3C standard 
that defines data categories and their implementation as a set of 
elements and attributes. ITS 2.0 is the successor of ITS 1.0; it is 
designed to foster Multilingual Web content, focusing on 
interoperability across HTML, XML source document formats, bi-text 
formats (XLIFF) and linked data (RDF). This presentation will show how 
ITS2.0 definitions, use cases and implementations support 
interoperability between translatable content extraction, terminology 
management, machine translation, human-centred translation and 
post-editing, translation QA and process management tasks across CMS, 
TMS, Machine Translation and Text Analytics components and CAT tools.

Presenter Organisation: CNGL is a €50M Academia-Industry partnership 
based in Ireland. It is unique internationally in researching and 
developing novel web-based, knowledge-based and language technologies 
for the global multi-lingual web content and services supply chain. It 
conducts world class research at the intersection of language 
technology, multi-lingual web and adaptive, personalised content.

Presenter Bio: Dr. David Lewis has 20 years R&D experience in both 
academia and industry. He has over 120 peer-reviewed publications areas 
of integrated service and knowledge management and service 
interoperability in several application domains. He currently leads 
research on the interoperability of  language technology, content 
management and localisation systems for Centre for Next Generation 
Localisation. He is co-chair of the Multilingual Web – Language 
Technology (MLW-LT) working group at the W3C which developed ITS2.0. He 
is also co-chair of recent workshops on the Multilingual Semantic Web, 
MultilingualWeb-Linked Open Data interoperability and the FEISGILTT 
interoperability workshop co-located with Localization World.
