[CSS21] response to issue 51

This is the CSS WG's response to an issue you raised on the last CSS
2.1 draft (http://www.w3.org/TR/2003/WD-CSS21-20030915). We want to
publish CSS 2.1 as a CR in about two weeks. Please let us know this
week if you think our response is wrong.

Your e-mail:

    Section 5.12.2 (The :first-letter pseudo-element) The last
paragraph of the example with the floated 'T' says: Note that the
:first-letter pseudo-element tags abut the content (i.e., the
initial character), while the :first-line pseudo-element start tag
is inserted right after the start tag of the element to which it
is attached. I'm not sure what this means,...

CSS WG response:

It may be unclear, but we think it is defined.

For the CSS WG,
Bert
