RE: W3C membership and Director have approved the re-charter of the WCAG Working Group

Phill,

I do remember, I think Judy and I are going to do a rendition of David’s song at the Deque hosted ‘Sign Language Karaoke’ at CSUN……:)

Subject: W3C membership and Director have approved the re-charter of the WCAG Working Group

  _____

Dear WAI Interest Group,

Great news for Accessibility: the W3C membership and our Director, Tim Berners-Lee, have approved the re-charter of the WCAG Working Group!

However, under the new charter our name has officially changed. We are now the Accessibility Guidelines Working Group or AGWG...:-)

Please consider having your organization join the W3C and the new AGWG. The W3C has put out a Call for Participation in AGWG. We need all the expert help we can get building WCAG 2.1, and improving our resource docs and techniques.

Please see the following information about how to join the group: <https://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/participation> https://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/participation

Our new public home page is at: <https://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/> https://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/

Happy Friday!
