Talk:Specification of Requirements/Lexicon-Ontology-Mapping
PC: For the sake of this discussion, let us refer to these properties as hasSense (with inverse isSenseOf) and hasReference (with inverse isReferenceOf). The sense object is unique for a given pair of lexical entry and ontological entity. GV: This condition amounts at saying that 'hasReference\isReferenceOf' is an equivalence relation, which is debatable. Different senses may link the same lexeme to the same ontology class if, for instance, there are different contextual or grammatical aspects involved, or if the sense correspondence is drawn with a broader class of a legacy ontology.
