Test case:
* Go to join a group when logged out
* Modal dialog pops up. Fill it in.
* You land on join page; hit back button
* You find the modal dialog still open. It should be closed.
Also this scenario might be related to the same issue:
* Login from anywhere else expect clicking the JOIN button (let's say the Login menu link in the top bar)
* The system redirects you to WP Dashboard
* Go back to the site (main home). It shows that you're logged so that's good.
* Click JOIN button. It tries to open the modal window instead of going to the join page.
The second comment is related to https://www.w3.org/community/council/track/actions/164 which was a different issue than this one.
