- Name: of the Thing (product name or a unique nickname alluding its function)
- Picture: photo of the Thing
- Logo: optional symbol of the Thing for scenario overview slides
- Hardware: platform description
- Software: framework, implementation language
- WoT functions:
- Role: Whether it is a server or a client or both (i.e., servient)
- Protocols: Which are supported
- Encodings: Which are supported
- Discovery: What forms are supported
- Application logic: What does the scripted app or native code do
- Textural description of what the Unit does as a whole.
