What is in the Presentation
Web Accessibility is Smart Business presentation introduces the business benefits of making websites and web tools (such as browsers, authoring tools, etc) accessible to people with disabilities. It has about 30 slides covering:
- How accessibility increases the number of people who can use your web products
- Statistics on ageing web users
- How accessibility overlaps with mobile web design, device independence, multi-modal interaction, usability, design for older users, and search engine optimization (SEO)
- Examples of low cost accessibility fixes
- Tips to optimize return on investment (ROI)
- Resources for more info, including case studies
This is just one example of a business case presentation. Presentations for different audiences will present the business case differently.
IMPORTANT: Text in "Notes" Section
The slides themselves have limited text so that participants do not have to read much during a presentation. The "notes" section contains important information.
Make sure you read the text in the "notes" area for each slide. The first one starts with: [NOTES SECTION: This is where the important information is for each slide.]
. For help viewing the notes area, see the WAI Presentations page.
