WCAG Next Possible Models/Model 1

WCAG 2.0 plus Mobile extension, Cognitive extension, Low Vision extension, etc.

This model sees a possible conformance structure that features the Core WCAG 2.0 plus New requirements based on the output of the current existing Task Forces.

  1. status quo, does not require charter changes

  3. Current experience with writing Extensions has identified problems that would be better solved by changing WCAG - e.g. definition of web content precludes hybrid mobile apps, No Keyboard Trap -> No Navigation Trap.
  4. Very difficult for conformance tool vendors
