Test case repository

From Accessibility Conformance Testing

This is a first proposal, further review and discussion is needed.

Project lead: Alistair Garrison'

Accessibility test case repository

Initial stage

To start the project off, we will develop a list of known accessibility test cases. These will be collected on the ACT Wiki

A list of repositories is available here: https://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/task-forces/conformance-testing/wiki/Testing_Resources

Setting Up The Repository

Existing test case repositories will be used to develop a single, unified repository. Each test case consists of two parts:

  • A sample that demonstrates the test case, such as an HTML file
  • A piece of metadata, that describes:
    • Under which WCAG 2.x success criteria the sample could be considered a violation
    • A list of selectors, pointing to which elements passed the criteria (if any)
    • A list of selectors, pointing to which elements failed the criteria (if any)

Contributing Test Cases

To be determined.
