Proposed Changes to User Agent and Assistive Technology Support Notes

Add the following text:

Note: Some mobile platforms currently do not allow the user to maintain focus on a link while examining the context of the link via a command such as a gesture or keystroke. These platforms may require assistive technology users to navigate focus to read the encapsulating text before and after the discovered link via screen reader commands such as the left and right swipe command.

In addition, AT on certain mobile devices provide keyboard commands to read the current sentence, line, or paragraph.

  • Capslock+Control+I - Read current paragraph
