Participation

Participation is open to participants of W3C/WAI's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Working Group (WCAG WG). If you are not currently a participant, but wish to attend please contact Gregg Vanderheiden (Chair), Loretta Guarino Reid (Chair), and Michael Cooper (Team contact).

The meeting is scheduled for three days to discuss major issues raised by comments received on the Last Call Working Draft of WCAG 2.0. This is a Face to Face meeting only, and remote participation by teleconference will not be available.

Registration

Registration is required and is open until 13 October 2006. Please complete the registration form to register for this meeting.

The registration system requires your W3C password. If you have not previously requested a login, please follow these instructions and contact Michael Cooper with any questions.

Wednesday

  1. Agenda Review
  2. Compile list of Commonly Held Principles
  3. Drafting of Responses for Smaller Topics not closed already (See Process at bottom of Agenda)
  4. Update and Discussion of Cognitive Issues

Thursday

  1. Review and Discussion of Key Cross-Cutting Issues (See Process at bottom of Agenda)
  2. Break into groups and Draft proposed solutions to each of above

SAP will host a group dinner this evening at 8:00 pm. The dinner is at Tuscany, 1415 W. 22nd St, Oak Brook, IL between SAP and the hotel location.

Friday

  1. Continued working sessions
  2. Editorial Issues around re-organize, Simpler, Wording
  3. Review of Timeline and Work Plan
  4. W3C process re-brief

Process in doing these reviews

  1. Issue Summary (presentation)
  2. Collect Issues from group
  3. Discussion of topic
  4. Close with recap of key issues, input to drafters, rationales, and action items

All visitors are required to sign in at the receptionist desk on the 10th floor. Meeting room is demo room 4. Receptionist will direct you to the meeting location.

Please note that SAP also has an office in downtown Chicago. That is not the meeting location. The meeting is in suburban Chicago.

Additionally, several members of the Working Group will have cars.
