Participation

Participation is open to participants of W3C/WAI's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Working Group (WCAG WG). If you are not currently a participant, but wish to attend please contact Gregg Vanderheiden (Chair), Loretta Guarino Reid (Chair), and Michael Cooper (Team contact).

The meeting is scheduled for three days to discuss major issues raised by comments received on the Last Call Working Draft of WCAG 2.0. This is a Face to Face meeting only, and remote participation by teleconference will not be available.

Registration

Registration is required and is open until 13 October 2006. Please complete the registration form to register for this meeting.

The registration system requires your W3C password. If you have not previously requested a login, please follow these instructions and contact Michael Cooper with any questions.

• If you work for a W3C Member organization, fill out and submit the Member Access Request Form.
• If you do not work for a W3C Member organization, fill out and submit the Public Access Request Form.

3. Drafting of Responses for Smaller Topics not closed already (See Process at bottom of Agenda)
   • Errors, Fonts, Timing, Text alt, Errors, Seizure Disorders, Contrast, etc.
4. Update and Discussion of Cognitive Issues

Thursday

1. Review and Discussion of Key Cross-Cutting Issues (See Process at bottom of Agenda)

2. Break into groups and Draft proposed solutions to each of above

SAP will host a group dinner this evening at 8:00 pm. The dinner is at Tuscany, 1415 W. 22nd St, Oak Brook, IL between SAP and the hotel location.

3. Review of Timeline and Work Plan
4. W3C process re-brief

All visitors are required to sign in at the receptionist desk on the 10th floor. Meeting room is demo room 4. Receptionist will direct you to the meeting location.

Please note that SAP also has an office in downtown Chicago. That is not the meeting location. The meeting is in suburban Chicago.

Accomodations

Please say that you are with "SAP" to get the SAP rate of $114 per night. If you use the hotel's online reservation system, use Corporate ID number 0560002034 at step 2 of the reservation process to get the SAP rate. There is a free shuttle from the hotel to SAP. Additionally, several members of the Working Group will have cars.

Transportation from Chicago O'Hare International airport

Please visit the O'Hare Airport Web Site for additional information.

• Shuttle bus: Continental Airport Express offers daily, door-to-door service to and from O'Hare airport and most city and suburban neighborhoods from 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Departures are about every 5 to 10 minutes. An information counter and pickup is located in the baggage claims areas of Terminals 1, 2, and 3, and outside U.S. Customs in Terminal 5. A one-way ticket to SAP will cost about $25. Advance reservations are strongly encouraged.
• Taxi: Taxis are available from the lower level curbfront of all terminals. A taxi to SAP will cost about $75.
• Public Transportation: Chicago has an extensive public transportation system. However, there are not good options for transport from the airport to Westbrook.
