- Chuck Letourneau honoured in Canada with Community IT Hero Award

- Andrew posted to EOWG list regarding several
accessibility presentations made recently.
- Judy will be attending WWW2003 and
presenting to the W3C Advisory Committee, the main conference, and the
developers day track on accessibility and device independence.
- Blossom advised that Wells Fargo had received an NFB 'non-visual accessibility web
application certification'

Judy spoke to the changes. Charmane sent attempt to shorten the sentences

Andrew and Alistair described the changes made after the F2F
- Discussion on presentation style and content
- suggestions
- Change bullets from checkpoints to very generalised text - use the
bit after the checkpoint text, the rationale
- Geberalise more - have detail elsewhere (at end?)
- Maybe add Auxiliary Benefits to 'related resources'
- meeting invited to take a section and express it shorter and more
clearly
- JB & CC & HS to attempt this and post to the list for
discussion and refinement
Business Case - Suite Issues
- CC - bottom navigation needs to be consistent
- JB - related resources OR bottom navigation OR both
- JB - should there be punctuation at the end of list items?
July Meeting in California
- JB - some discusion with two groups trying to partner with:
- ITTATC may send a couple of folk
- Alliance for Technology Access (have > 100 affiliates)
interested in starting training at a local level in US
- JB - was planning a survey of EO members with dates. Dates currently
looking fairly stable. Trying to do it at one location - HP can probably
provide this.
- 16-18 July at HP in Palo Alto is recommended
- NL - HP can recommend hotels in the area
- JB - what is capacity of HP rooms?
- NL - 16/17/18 July - Auditorium - capacity of 100; Plus smaller room
(35 capacity) for 16 July
- JB - would WF be able to host a hand on day in a computer lab on 18
July?
- BM - will check with Doyle - might be possible
- NL - HP needs confirmation very soon as lots of demand for
Auditorium
