I joined the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), in November 1998 as a visiting engineer from Matsushita Electric Industrial Co.,Ltd(a.k.a Panasonic) in Osaka. I work at the MIT site in the USA, mostly in the Architecture Domain area, and I am involved in the Mobile Activity in the User Interface Domain. Especially, I am involved in CC/PP WG which is developing device capability exchange mechanisms. My area of interests is the adaptation of Web technologies for home appliances such as mobile terminals and TV sets. I graduated from Osaka University in Japan with my master degrees of Computer Science in 1989.
