Good agenda, here are my comments. While the Web may seem like impacting more on how payments are initiated and identity and security, distributed ledgers and cryptographic security of entities on the web fundamentally changes how the Web can play a role in the settlement and clearing of payments or said in other way, how a blockchain based payment system on the web could self-clear and settle. It would be good to create a utopian model for these discussion of a wide variety of payments - c2b, c2c, b2b and b2c (and all 4 in a cross-border context) similar to what the Euroclear group did for capital market (see link lnkd.in/bCa6gEH ). Some of the startup activity would be good to review to see how this shaping out and have a facilitated discussion on where there is friction and where there is standaridzation opportunity for the web ripple, align commerce abra bitpesa bitspark etc
