Sydney SVG F2F Meeting, Feb 16-20 2009
The SVG Sydney F2F meeting will take place at the The Sebel Manly Beach hotel at Manly Beach NSW. Wireless network connectivity and video projectors will be made available. The Sebel Manly Beach hotel is located at the south end of Manly Beach front.

Hotel information
Information hotels and tourism information on Manly Beach can be found at the Go Manly Home Page.
There are a number of hotels in the Manly Beach area. All hotels in the area are within walking distance of The Sebel Manly Beach hotel, restaurants and public transportation.
Manly Lodge is very close to The Sebel Manly Beach hotel and provides a range of rooms from $89 to $380 per night.
Manly Pacific provides very nice rooms and situated on one of the best locations on the beach front. The hotel is very short walk to The Sebel Manly Beach hotel and has rooms start at $219 per night.
The Sebel Manly Beach looks great. The hotel is on the beach front at the south end of Manly Beach and the staff seem quite friendly. Rooms start at $230 per night for non-sea view.
Transportation
Sydney has a reasonable public transport system. Petrol in Australia is currently quite cheap, however because we are descendants of convicts most people in Sydney tend to drive their car like they stole it. Hence, public transport is generally more efficient, cheaper and safer than renting a car. The Transport Info page has information on all the Sydney public transport.
The quickest way from Manly Beach to the city is by ferry. The ferry departs from the Manly Wharf every 20 minutes and stops at Circular Quay. Other forms of transport (buses, trains) can be caught from the Circular Quay terminal.
