Presentation

The Fifth International World Wide Web Conference & Exhibition, sponsored by the European Commission, INRIA, ERCIM and the W3 Consortium, will take place on May 6-10, 1996, at the CNIT Paris-La Défense.

The Exhibition will take place in one of the largest conference centre in Europe: The CNIT. The centre is a unique and interactive place dedicated to exchanges, with 3 amphitheaters, 21 adaptable rooms and 17 000 square meters of exhibition area. The various places are interconnected and provide full data and audio-video transmission services.

It is the biggest Internet and World Wide Web event in Europe for 1996. The most famous companies working around the Web will be there: Adobe, Bellcore, Digital Equipment, France Télécom, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Illustra, Microsoft, OCLC, Sun, ...:

The Exhibition will present equipment, systems, software, services, literature and any other products of importance to the World Wide Web.
