It is unclear if all contexts share the same bitmap. WebGL suggests they don't which creates interesting scenarios as to what happens when you get a 2D context, then a WebGL one, and then start drawing on the 2D one, etc.

Ideally all contexts share the same bitmap I think, but state of the art might make this impractical? :/

Change Description: no spec change
Rationale: The spec is clear that there is a single bitmap (see the first dozen or so paragraphs of the <canvas> element's definition — it talks about "the" bitmap everywhere, independent of the contexts, which it refers to in the plural).

If this isn't going to work for WebGL, I need to know what WebGL needs from the spec to make it all work.
