Description Katy Warr 2009-09-22 10:11:36 UTC
The WS-Eventing spec does not make it clear whether it is possible to renew a subscription that has previously expired or been canceled. I assume that such an expired/canceled subscription is invalid (refer also to issue 7553 - where the proposal clarifies this).

Proposal: Assume that it is not possible to renew invalid (including canceled/expired) subscriptions

Add text to 4.2 Renew
"If the subscription is not valid, the request MUST fail and the subscription manager MUST generate a wse:InvalidSubscription fault."
