Resolution of Bug 7071 fixed the fact that when a user returned to the results page from an external site, it actually returned to the "please wait" page.

Users should now correctly return to the results page, but the status of the expanded sections is not saved, and thus the "expand/collapse" state is not restored when the user goes back, which is all the worse than links to external sites typically are found in expandable sections, sigh.
