Avalon testlet development has now been discontinued for nearly two years and is
no longer a viable alternative to JUnit.  The existing avalon code has not been
updated in synch with the JUnit support code and may be stale.  The avalon
support code and documentation should be removed to eliminate potential
confusion to end users.
