Description Michael Kay 2018-01-15 16:20:56 UTC
There are tests such as streamable-015 and streamable-016 that assume the document read by xsl:source document will be schema-validated, on the basis that validation is requested in the test metadata. It's not clear that the specification allows validation to be requested externally in this way; the spec says (somewhat indirectly) that if validation is omitted then it defaults to "strip".

I'm changing the affected tests to request validation explicitly using the validation attribute on xsl:source-document.

This was resolved through bug #30145, which was used as reference in the change record in the tests. Closing this one as duplicate as the original bug was resolved.
