Description Josh Spiegel 2016-10-10 19:31:27 UTC
In section 10.1.11 it says:

"The use-character-maps parameter is not directly applicable to the Adaptive output method."

But earlier it says "Character maps are applied (a) when nodes are serialized using the XML output method, and (b) to any value represented as a string enclosed in quotation marks."

Which is correct?

I also noticed there are no tests in XQTS that combine the adaptive method and use-character-maps.
Comment 1 Andrew Coleman 2016-10-20 18:07:41 UTC
The WG agreed the following resolution:

ACTION A-657-11: Andy to make the text on use-character-maps to read: "The use-character-maps parameter is directly applicable to the Adaptive output method only as elsewhere specified."

This fix has been applied.
