In section 3 (Examples), first paragraph is a sentence starting with:

"That produced XQuery is presented only as a sanity-check..."

This is slightly awkward to read.  I suggest changing it to:

"The generated XQuery is presented only as a sanity-check..."


Appendix B (Transforming XQueryX to XQuery) starts with:

"The following stylesheet converts from XQueryX syntax to XML Query syntax"

Everywhere else, we refer to XQuery as XQuery, not XML Query.  I suggest, for consistency, we change this sentence to:

"The following stylesheet converts from XQueryX syntax to XQuery syntax"
