We need to define normative processing expecations for (the visualization of) ruby and directionality. Currently, ruby references the w3c ruby tr and opendoc informally, and directionality references XHTML2 formally. This is uncoherent. There is no need to define these processing expecations as a mandatory part of an "product of ITS".
This issue seems to be addressed in the latest draft: the conformance section refers to XHTML2 directionality and ruby TR, aren't they? (clause 2-5). Or am I missing something?

If nobody protests, I would say: the same as for other data categories, e.g. related to selection. What do others think?
