Description C. M. Sperberg-McQueen 2006-02-11 01:42:11 UTC
This issue was originally reported by Michael Sperberg-McQueen.

We need to be clear where the XML Schema spec depends on component
identity. We need a language to talk about identity of types, in
general, and particularly with respect to anonymous types. Can an
inherited type have an anonymous type? Are anonymous types that
appear multiple types in a model group the same type?

See (member-only link) minutes of 10/24 telcon
(http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/w3c-xml-schema-ig/2002Oct/0248.html).

This item was discussed, and phase-1 agreement was reached, in the
meeting of 2004-05-13
(http://www.w3.org/XML/Group/2004/05/xml-schema-ftf-minutes.html).

According to the requirements document, phase-1 agreement has been reached.
