3.1.6 Named Function References

"Certain functions in the [XQuery and XPath Functions and Operators 3.1] specification are defined to be polymorphic."

Do you mean all the functions: 4 Functions and operators on numerics http://www.w3.org/TR/xpath-functions-31/#numeric-functions ?

I ask b/c polymorphic isn't used in [XQuery and XPath Functions and Operators 3.1]. Yes, I caught the denoted language but pointing the functions out as a class would be clearer.

Done (actually, this was fixed previously).
